Dan brings over 12 years of progressive securities compliance, audit and financial markets experience. Prior to Celernus, Dan spent 6 years at the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) in their Compliance and Registrant Regulation Branch where his main responsibilities were monitoring and assessing the compliance of investment management firms and individuals. While working at the OSC Dan earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Prior to joining the OSC Dan worked as the national finance manager for a large distribution company. Dan started his career at KPMG and while working in their audit practice became a Chartered Accountant (Chartered Professional Accountant). He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McMaster University.
